TYR drivers dominate the leader board after round 1 of theBridgestone Porsche Series held over Labour Weekend.

The first thing you will notice is the new livery on the cars, TYR have given their a fresh look for the new season to give more coverage to their individual sponsors. That doesn’t mean that they are not still yellow on the inside. The team still remains the same committed to their racing and having a blast on and off the track!

Round 1 started with practice on Friday followed by Qualifying on Saturday afternoon which saw Tony 1st followed by Brent 2nd and Robert 4th

The results of Race 1 and 3 were very similar to the qualifying positions.

Race 2 (reverse handicap race) saw Paul claim second followed by Brent

After Round 1 the Class C points have Tony 1st followed by Brent and Paul in fourth followed by Robert.

Round 2 will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of November atManfeild Autocourse and will share the meeting with the V8 Utes, Super Trucks and 6 other classes so this meeting should be well worth a look if your in the Lower North Island.
